Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Jakes Calendar (the "Service"), an appointment scheduling platform for businesses and AI voice receptionists. The Service is provided by Jakes Ai ("we", "us"). By using the Service you are contracting with Jakes Ai.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it; if an individual, that you are of legal age.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

• using it for unlawful purposes or to violate others' rights;
• fraud, spam or unsolicited communications;
• infringing intellectual property;
• interfering with security, introducing malware, probing, scraping, or reverse engineering the Service;
• reselling or redistributing the Service or circumventing technical limits.

4. Intellectual property

Jakes Ai retains all rights in the Service, including software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your plan. You keep ownership of your content and grant us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the Service.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. Extra calendars are billed monthly and renew until cancelled.

6. Service level

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. After termination, we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
